Circular Library adapts digital platform
East of Moon develops community-oriented software for budding startup.

For years, East of Moon has been developing digital solutions for online co-creation as imperfect internet . Originating in experiments for the Finnish government to encourage experimentation within the public sector, the software has been adapted by creative communities such as hafnar.haus where its online platform serves close to 700 users, as well as public agencies, hackathons and corporations under the branding Missons.dev.
The Circular Library Network has recently signed a service agreement with East of Moon to develop and maintain their community platform based on this solution. The CLN is a fast growing startup that offers a practical solution to help communities share resources and build a sustainable future together. Using their self-checkout system, any place—tool libraries, libraries of things, municipalities, real estate, or co-working spaces can create their own sharing solutions.
The community platform developed for the CLN is in their own words:
"... a mix of social network and forum - where our clients can get together and learn from each other, share experiences and help the community. In return, your organization receive perks and discounts. This is where you will find all the information to build your project - from learning materials to assembly guides".
